Conditions Of Entry (Maliau Basin)
Malaiau Basin Conservation Area is a Class
1 (Protection) Forest Reserve, under the Sabah Forestry
Enactment 1968.
Please remember:
-
No taking, cutting or damaging or plant
or animal material, whether alive or dead, including
flowers, leaves, roots, branches, seeds, fruits, feathers,
nests, nests fungi or any wood, stones or rocks.

No writing on trees or rocks with pens or
paint or carving with knives/parangs.
-
No dropping of litter, including
cigarette butts. All litter should be brought out if
possible, or disposed of using the facilities provided at
Maliau Basin.

That visitors will not be allowed to
contact any forms of research without the approval from the
Malaisu Basin Management Committee (MBMC)
Visitors' bags will be checked on depature
from MBMC if necessary.
